"Genmai" means natural rice. Made from Bancha tea, approximately 50% roasted or popped rice grains have been added to this specialty. Characterized by the mild flavor, the incomparable taste of Bancha tea is perfectly complemented by the slightly sweet and nutty, caramel note. Thanks to the low caffeine content, this tea can be consumed all day long. An excellent choice for green tea beginners. The experienced, like the Japanese, prefer this tea for the afternoon hours.
